Carving Pumpkins

Today we carved our pumpkins. We started out with a plan to do all Star Wars pumpkins. Well... 2 of them turned out great (because Ryan carved them :) ) and mine... not so much. I had to change mine a little because I am not the best pumpkin carver. :) From left to right: Ryan's light saber pumpkin, Carson's Captain Rex pumpkin, my scary face? pumpkin.

PuMpKiN PaTcH

Ryan, Carson and I went to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. We found some really great ones and we can't wait to carve them! It was so much fun going together to pick out our own pumpkins. I don't think we'll ever get them from the grocery store again. :)

Gardner Village

On Friday Carson and I went to Gardner Village and man was is PACKED! There were tons of people there! We had a ton of fun. It really gets you in the Halloween spirit. They have cute witches everywhere. We went on the "Ride with the Witch". It was really cute and Carson enjoyed taking a tour of where the witches live. They even had a live tarantula! Thanks bud for the great day, I had so much fun!!!

Carson's Jiu-Jitsu Tournament

We are so proud of Carson! He had his very first Jiu-Jitsu tournament today. He took 4th place in his division based on points. He worked so hard and had some tough opponents and we couldn't be more proud of him. Good job buddy!

We are ready for Halloween!!!

Of course we have to have Halloween Star Wars bobble heads!

Chocolate "Countdown to Costume" calendar

We even have Halloween Mac and Cheese! :)

Murder Mystery Dinner

Ryan and I went to a murder mystery dinner with Jolene, Gary, Tyler and Sara. It was called "Twilit and the Full Blooded Princess" so it was a mixture of Twilight and Harry Potter with Frankenstein and his bride thrown in there. It was a pretty funny show and we enjoyed the night.

Dad's and Donuts!

On Wednesday, September 29th, the school PTA put on a "Dads and Donuts" event. Ryan and Carson went and had donuts and milk together and read books all morning before school. They had a great time!
